In honor of breast cancer awareness month, each member of the SA Texans ’00 Girls team switched out their shoelaces and replaced them with pink ones and scored 25 goals, raising $25 for the cause.
Everyone can originate change, just ask the SA Texans ’00 Girls of San Antonio! In honor of breast cancer awareness month, each member of the team switched out their normal soccer cleat shoelaces and replaced them with pink ones, according to board member and Bromley employee, Gus Espinosa. In addition, the team dedicated each of their games to join the fight against breast cancer right here in San Antonio by donating $1 to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for every goal they scored during the month of October. The team scored a total of 25 goals!
